Drop Ship Distribution (Direct Ship Program)

In today's ever changing retail arena, manufactures often require catalog and Internet retailers to maintain their own independent inventory for shipment to their customers. This in turn allows manufactures improved order efficiency by limiting outgoing shipments to larger volume order only and thereby focuses their primary energies on their core product manufacturing. 

At the same time however manufacturers compromise by losing exposure with retailers who don't have adequate warehouse facilities for stocking inventory or limited retail space but might otherwise have great marketing abilities or retail visibility.
